5 Things Every Kenyan Candidate Must Do Before Their GCC Interview

At Execuget we have placed thousands of candidates in GCC roles. The ones who succeed share a common trait: thorough preparation. Here is exactly what we tell every candidate before their employer interview.

1. Research the employer and the country

Know the company's history, their key clients, and their culture. Understand the labour laws and working conditions in the specific GCC country you are targeting. Employers notice when candidates have done their homework.

2. Practise your English clearly and confidently

Most GCC employers conduct interviews in English. Speak slowly, clearly, and use specific examples when answering competency questions. Avoid filler phrases and stay focused on the question asked.

3. Prepare your documents in advance

Have certified copies of all certificates, a valid passport, and your updated CV ready before the interview date. Document delays are the most common reason placement timelines slip.
