The Welder is responsible for joining
fabricating
and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. The role ensures high-quality welds that meet safety standards
design specifications
and operational requirements in construction
manufacturing
or industrial settings
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning
- cutting
- and shaping materials.
- Document work completed and report issues to supervisors.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents
- including wearing protective gear.
- Perform welding using methods such as MIG
- TIG
- arc
- or gas welding.
- Inspect welds for quality
- strength
- and adherence to standards.
